my new obsessions

Doughnuts

It all started when Erin brought Krispy Kreme doughnuts for us. It was after I’ve already eaten loads of sisig and rice that I devoured one of those delightful original glazed doughnuts. From that point on, I’ve been buying doughnuts whenever given the chance. But since there’s no Krispy Kreme branch near UPM, I had to settle with Gonuts Donuts whose glazed doughnuts taste somehow like those from Krispy Kreme—but not as good.

Books

I guess this has long existed but not to this degree. Last August, I read around six different books. That was an accomplishment since most of those books were bought by my savings. See? I even save money now. And I’m looking forward to buying more and more books. Right now, I’m reading The Alienist by Caleb Carr. I bought it from Filbar’s the same time I bought Seeds of Yesterday by V.C. Andrews. I’ve also just finished reading If Tomorrow Comes by Sidney Sheldon. It’s a really great book. I just thought of giving Sidney Sheldon’s books a try since we have LOTS at home. And yeah, I enjoyed reading it. I’m already looking forward to reading more of Sidney Sheldon’s works. Yeah!Country Story

I’m hooked. This game reminds me of Harvest Moon which was my obsession from elementary to high school. I never thought it would follow me up until now. Oh well, I guess it’s just another hard habit to break. I enjoy this game because it gives me the chance to steal crops from my friends and beautify my farm with such cute stuff (like the pink fence I’m using). Most of my block mates play it as well so it gives us more things to talk about at school.

That's it for now. I feel the need to go over to Robinsons and buy a box of doughnuts. But I guess I should wait for the rain to stop. Or is there such a thing as doughnut delivery?

one day, you can call for delivery. haha. but for today, there's no doughnut delivery yet. we're satisfied with cello's mini-doughnuts at katipunan.

and i will save for eating that doughnut with dark chocolate!

Books: I am on a roll, too, and I'm finishing 4 books at the same time. Two are required readings though, Ang Ginto sa Makiling and One Hundred Years of Solitude, the latter being so disturbing.

One Hundred Years of Solitude? It's the book with all the killings and stuff. Billy told me.

Btw, isn't finishing 4 books at the same time a headache? I mean, how can you focus?! Do you have eight eyes or something? Not that I doubt you do. :))

Yay! I can comment now!

I like Gonuts Donuts; their doughnuts have the amount of sweetness right for me. I see a lot of Krispy Kreme on my way from Makati to QC everyday. I think there's even one in our campus. I would love to buy you doughnuts but I think I can't give it to you.

We have a lot of Sidney Sheldon books at home. I haven't tried reading one but after this post, maybe I will.

Remember when I told you that Facebook is for bored people? Facebook is an evil invention for people like us who have something more important to do. Haha. But... I just can't resist Facebook. :(

Hey, I just heard Kiss the Rain playing. I suddenly miss my sister who would spend days hitting wrong notes when practicing. Wahahahaha. She plays it well now, though.

@nemesis- I know! Their doughnuts taste just right. Still, I want Krispy Kreme! There's one in your campus?! I envy you. T.T

Try reading them! If you have a copy of If Tomorrow Comes, read it first. It's really good. :)

I can't resist Facebook as well. It is EVIL. It's ALMOST as evil as some other online thing I know...

Really?I haven't tried playing it yet. I already printed out the sheet music though.

facebook is so evil that it makes me want to kill someone who made an account of me! identity theft, i tell you.

Yes, and yeah, a girl eating earth and the whitewash on the walls. Yuck.

I can keep track of the happenings. Since I read until some significant scene happens in the story - and I render it as a 'novelmark'. Haha.

I am tempted to buy the Hershey's dark chocolate edition of the donut. I'm obsessed on dark chocolate now, since I'm always into milk chocolate for the past few weeks.

@pyrotechnics- I remember you saying something about having created a facebook account. Hmm...

Girl eating earth?

Buy some for me. I WORSHIP dark chocolate.
